Top Top Top after a long time again really delicious Indian eaten !!!

We ordered the Butter Chicken Tandoori Chicken Massala Biryani Rice and the Naan Bread yesterday. I have to say it tasted excellent. You have to let the staff know beforehand that the food should be made properly Indian and not according to the Indian-German concept and I have to say the food tasted heavenly. Gladly again !!! :)

Ordered the first and definitely the last time tonight. The food tasted like nothing and the only thing that was good was the bread. Not even deserving a star ..

Had dinner there with my family today and were all very disappointed! Food tasted very bland, 3 out of 4 dishes were unfortunately almost inedible :(. The service leaves a lot to be desired. If you want to eat really Indian, go to the Indian in Frauenstrasse! Not recommendable.

Food is ideal if you have never eaten Indian and want to slowly approach Indian food. The food was delicious, but unfortunately it didn't taste enough Indian for me. In my opinion, the dishes are very much geared towards the European taste.

In itself a nice restaurant, nice service and the prices are reasonable. The food is more of a German taste, so comparatively mild as far as the spices are concerned and unfortunately not spicy.

Food is average but the behaviour of staff is very cold and rude. Will not go again.

As a Indian I would not recommend this place . Very worst taste of food , only four dishes are available , chicken and lamb is not fresh might be very old or expired flush , got very bad smell in chicken and lamb. No welcome , no smile from the waiter or from the billing section, they concentrated only on billing . Very very very bad ,, yuckkkkkkkkk

lunch buffet is cost effective. You can choose from 4 main courses and several nans and sources.

Yum food, never eat Indian food better then that outside India..

New dishes added on a monthly basis, we were totally pleased with the selection here. Didn't have to wait very long to be seated, was pleased by how fresh and clean everything was. Good portion sizes specifically considering the price. Superb location, a lot of menu choices, everyone was really pleased with the food. The personnel here are actually high grade, can't praise them enough.

Super good Indian food. We also forgot bag and returned back to get it. Thankfully it was safe. Recommended food for sure!

Friendly people, we came here only because of the good google maps reviews, but honestly we were dissapointed. The prices were middle,and as indian food fans, the food was eatable but not tasty/ special.

We ate here for dinner. The dishes were delicous. The food was freshly prepared with fresh vegtables. You could choose out from a variety of diffrent dishes. The waiters were very friendly. I can really recommand to eat in the Himalaya retaurant.

Below average quality of food. I never had such bad quality of food in Germany. It looks that they do not have professional chef for cooking. I went to the Reasturant two times and regret both times. Everything is too salty, they are making some simple daal and call it 'Daal Makhani' . Totally unsatisfied.

My rating is the buffet. Very tasty, vegetarian and with meat dishes, fresh bread, soup and salad. Nice little beer garden, suitable for wheelchairs. Good service. Unbeatable cheap.

The portions for the thaali was great. Service could be much faster though. Took an hour to get my food. Food is ok.

Chicken tikka is highly recommended. The restaurant offers a nice Indian ambience with very friendly service. Generally recommended. Price performance is very good. The only drawback: the salad for starters is not a culinary highlight.

If I only eat hamburger steak potatoes here, I would like to go there when rice or spice stew wants to eat. The quantity was reasonable, but it seems expensive for Indian food.

taste ok, price for lunch is also ok. some menu tasted good, some had too much "gewürz" spices. perhaps they have used some ready-made market available finished mixes. this ruined the good taste/experience of other items.

I still love me some Himalaya every once in a while, but I've had to come to grips with the fact that Taj Mahal is just a little more... delicious. I do like the cozier atmosphere at Himalaya, though.

Good place to experience North Indian food, when you are away from home. Staff is attentive and helpful too. Place is little crammed though.
